web2growCART is suitable for businesses starting out with eCommerce, or businesses that conduct business primarily offline but want to start selling within their existing website structure without having a fully featured shopping cart system.
web2growCART - shopping cart
The web2growCART module is an easy to use tool for displaying and selling products or services.
The real benefits of web2growCART is that it's easy to use! It is specifically targeted for business selling to Australian visitors, so GST, A$ and shipping is already configured for the Australian market for you.
Products/services display
You can display your products in up to 2 levels e.g. Television > Plasma or Flowers > Roses.
You can also display individual product/services pages anywhere in your site - as web2growCART is fully integrated into the web2growCMS and therefore your web2growCMS web site.
Ordering products
You can use web2growCART to display goods/services and then allow your visitors to either;
- "Enquire Now" - contact you via a Contact Form, which is sent to you by email.
- "Order Now" - place an Order that can be manually processed by you.
- "Pay Now" - make a payment by credit card.
Its a straight-forward ordering system.
Shopping cart
Your visitors can choose to add items to a Cart or go directly to checkout.
Payments
It also allows for online processing of Orders: your visitors can pay by credit card, and you do not require a Payment gateway, Internet Merchant Account, as payment are processed using the the Paypal payment system.
The web2growCART is designed for newcomers to eCommerce intending to conduct business primarily with visitors in Australia. It uses a single currency (either US$ or A$) and is configured to calculate Australian GST.
For sales outside of Australian you can configure the web2growCART to either charge the same rate (10%) as an overseas processing fee, or reduce the price by that amount of GST.
Shipping can be configured either as a price you set for each product, or using a point system. This way the system totals the points at checkout, and allows you to set postage rates for different points ranges.
